The goal was to import cargo from Germany to Russia and carry out customs clearance.
Cargo – water treatment line disassembled (loaded into 4 euro trucks)
Transportation method – truck transportation from Germany to the Polish-Belarusian border, reloading and further transportation to the Krasnodar region.
At the beginning of 2022, the task was set to import and mare customs clearance of equipment that had to be transported disassembled. Customs clearance of the equipment had to take place within the framework of a single HS code, without obtaining a preliminary classification decision, and all the vehicles had to arrive at the customs post in the Krasnodar Territory at the same time.
The received shipping documents for each vehicle, passports, descriptions and drawings were studied, corrected and brought into the required form for customs clearance within the framework of a single HS code in order to maximize savings on customs duties.
Shortly before the cargo was sent, hostilities began in Ukraine, and by the time the trucks were loaded, numerous EU sanctions had been imposed on Russia. However, permission for export customs clearance of the line in Germany was obtained before the introduction of the corresponding package of sanctions.
The situation was further complicated by the fact that many trucks were stuck at the border due to restrictive measures against transportation companies from certain countries. Vehicles with European license plates delivering the above-mentioned equipment had to stand at the border for more than a week, after which they were loaded onto Belarusian trucks, which in turn delivered the cargo to the place of customs clearance, and then to the place of unloading.
Upon the arrival of the vehicles, the delivery regime was closed, after which a declaration for the goods was submitted, then the goods were successfully released at customs, after which they were delivered to their destination.
