STELS A company organized the transportation of two heat exchangers for a post-spirit stillage processing line for an alcohol plant. The heat exchangers were metal containers with dimensions of 10,850 mm x 3,050 mm x 2,850 mm each, with a total gross weight of 58,100 kg.
The transportation route began in the Chinese port of Lianyungang on FOB terms, then the ship went to the port of Vladivostok, after which the heat exchangers were loaded onto low-loader trucks, which delivered them across Russia to the city of Beslan.
Transportation to Vladivostok was carried out on a tramp vessel; as a result, the cost of the sea component turned out to be significantly cheaper than if the cargo was transported via the standard route on a 40-foot Flat Rack container on a liner ship to Novorossiysk.
Due to congestion at Chinese ports due to coronavirus restrictions, the ship's mooring and departure were delayed for almost several weeks. Despite this, everything was done even slightly ahead of schedule.
The transportation was tracked by GORADAR multimodal tracking system throughout the journey.
